Teacher Resource Grants Program
To further AFO’s mission of promoting the French language and Francophone cultures, our annual Teacher Resource Grants Program supports the efforts of Omaha area French teachers through project-based classroom grants. AFO is offering grants of $50 up to $500 to support teachers during the upcoming school year. You may request a Resource Grant to receive money in one of the following areas:
Classroom Materials
French Club
Student Travel
Your Choice (specify)
No lengthy application process is required!
No need to write up a rationale, goals, or evaluation. Just fill out the simple application to let us know the meaningful way you would use this grant. We will be delighted to fund your idea!
Any French teacher currently teaching at the middle or high school level in a Nebraska-accredited public or private school within the AFO geographic area is welcome to apply.
Grant recipients will also receive a one-year FREE membership to the Alliance Française Omaha.

If you know of a new teacher who is not receiving emails about our Student Scholarships and Teacher Resource Grants, please email us the relevant contact information and we’ll add it to our French Teacher Mailing List.
Note: Funds may NOT be used for continuing education by a teacher (i.e., college course work), paying for teacher meals, or teacher travel (except to/from professional conferences).
100% of your gift to the Teacher Resource Grant will help support dedicated French teachers in the Omaha area.
