Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
We'll be meeting at 5:00pm on Sunday, December 15th at the Prescott Street location of Wax Buffalo in Lincoln.
Please join us at Wax Buffalo (48th and Prescott) for drinks, snacks and a French inspired gift exchange.
Parking is available on Prescott or 48th.
Drinks will be available to order. Feel free to bring a little snack to add to our snack tray (optional).
If you'd like to participate in a gift exchange, please bring something French/Francophone inspired ranging from $0-$10. This could be something you have around home (a book, decor item, etc) or store bought.
When you arrive, look for C&C Lincoln/Apéro Lincoln organizer Sara Parkening. Let us know that you’re coming by RSVPing below. All levels of French proficiency welcome!
