Seminar in History and Politics, Session Two

  • Field Club of Omaha (Swing Room) 3615 Woolworth Avenue Omaha (map)

A Changing Europe:

From the French Revolution to the Great War.

Please join us for an evening of informative and thought-provoking conversation with AFO member John Jordan. During this interactive session, John will share his extensive knowledge of the political and military history of Europe, exploring how the events, philosophies and personalities from the 18th to the 20th centuries have led to the making of the Europe of today.

Registrants will receive in advance a summary and overview of the first session (see schedule below). At a future date, we will present the third and final seminar on the role of France in history and politics, providing important perspectives relevant to the current world situation. Cheese and charcuterie with a cash bar will be included with your registration for this event. Registration dates TBD. View John Jordan’s biography here.
