Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.

We'll be meeting at 9:30am on Saturday, October 19th at Cooper & Co. Home + Gift in Lincoln.

What’s that you say? A Lincoln event? Well, yes, indeed! While C&C has previously held joint events with Apéro Lincoln, we have recently made it official with a new partnership!

We are trying something a bit different this October. We will meet for coffee and bagels at Cooper and Co. Home and Gift. They have a delightful outdoor space between their two stores and they have agreed to let us hold our event there. Dress accordingly.

I will plan to bring the coffee and bagels. I am looking for volunteers who could bring napkins, plates and plasticware, juice, and cups. If anyone else wants to bring some fruit or other pastries, that would be more than welcome too!
