Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
***PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF DATE***
In light of the Husker game AND other C&C events in Lincoln and Sioux City, we'll now be meeting on Sunday. Encouraging you to attend an event in either Lincoln or Sioux City on Saturday, and Omaha on Sunday. Hope to see you soon!
We'll be meeting at 10:00am on Sunday, October 20th at the Joslyn Museum in downtown Omaha.
Have you been dreaming of strolling through The Louvre or the Musée d'Orsay? How about coming to Omaha's newly-remodeled Joslyn Art Museum where you can practice French all the while taking in the art or sipping on a café—either indoors or on their terrace?
And hey, why not use this as an opportunity to "brush" up on your art vocabulary in French?
Oh, and did you know it's completely free?
Hope to see you then!
When you arrive, look for C&C founder Jeff Koterba. Let us know that you’re coming by RSVPing below. Everyone is welcome, no matter if you are a beginner, a native French speaker, or somewhere in between. Hope to see you there!
